July Blitz Results
The July Blitz, held somewhat later than normal on 3 August, had a run-away winner: Jason Rawlinson, who last month came first equal, this time swept all before him, scoring six straight wins. Second equal were last month’s joint-winner Brendan Buckley and previous multiple-winner Fintan Hegarty, on 4½ points (drawing with each other, and both losing to Jason). The grading prize was yet again won by an ungraded newcomer: this time Zoran Dragic, who scored a commendable 3/6.
