Next Blitz: Thursday August 31
The August blitz will be held on the last possible date to still be in August, on August 31st; the venue as usual is the Bridge Centre (upstairs). The start time will be 7.45, and there is an entry fee of €5 to cover rent of the room and prizes. Chess-playing visitors to Galway looking for somewhere to go out of the rain are very welcome, as, of course, are locals.
