Galway Juniors Representing Ireland
John and Ruth Cormican will be representing Ireland in the European Youth Chess Championships, in Prague from 16 to 26 August, 2012. John is playing in the under-16, and Ruth in the girls under-18 (along with several others who are also representing Ireland in these events and in other age groups).

I just found out that the top boards are being broadcast. If the Irish games are broadcast I’ll put them up here.
Out of the 10 Irish players I think Diana Mirza was the only one to get a plus score (6/9 which was 15th out of 100).
