AGM on 8 May
Galway Chess Club AGM will take place at our club room in the Bridge Centre, starting at 8 p.m. As usual we are looking for volunteers to help run the club, and ideas on how it can be even better. All are welcome to attend, but only paid-up members can vote.
The AGM will be our last meeting at the Bridge Centre for the season. After that we will be meeting on Thursday evenings in the Cottage Bar, Lower Salthill.
Also: advance notice of the Galway Rapidplay, a one-day FIDE-rated event on Saturday 14 June, at the Bridge Centre, and the Galway Congress, on the weekend of 17-19 October in the Menlo Park Hotel. Further information about these events will be up here shortly.
